HIV+ Men’s Retreat 2020

28th Feb - 1st March
Vaughan Park, Long Bay, Auckland

The 2020 HIV+ Men’s Retreat will take place on Friday 28th February to Sunday 1st March, the Retreat will once again be held at Vaughan Park in Long Bay just north of Auckland.

The aim of the retreat is provide the opportunity to meet with other HIV positive men, provide opportunities to develop a support network, to create a safe and supportive environment for HIV positive men to discuss and share information, and to take time out - to facilitate rest, recreation and to revitalise yourself.

SING!
Proud Centres are hosting events during Pride and SING! is performing at a number of locations. At each session we are learning a single song which we practice till its perfect - come along, join in and make some new friends. No experience necessary. No judgment, no stigma.
And we will give a brief update on HIV in New Zealand during intermission. This event was made possible through the Pride & Spark Empowerment Initiative.

What’s Up - Pride Activist Gala
Be inspired by Rainbow activists, with the chance to support each other’s campaigns and maybe create new ones together. Presenting the Travel Ban on People living with HIV from staying in New Zealand for more than 12 months. And the criminalisation of PLHIV where NZ is ranked 3rd highest in the world.
